In the classical manner, comprising cream pitcher and lidded sugar bowl, each of rounded rectangular form, the bodies

waisted and with French gadrooning, raised on a rectangular pedestal base, the creamer with a flying s- and c-scroll handle

with rosettes, the sugar lid with a standing lion and ball finial with sliding spring action closing

 

Marked verso with the first standard .934 mark; maker’s mark: JG over + over G; cursive X for 1832

 

Condition: minor bend to creamer footrim and sugar lid edge
