BOW PORCELAIN EUROPEAN DECORATION PLATE

The round barbed plate with a green and iron red feather-moulded rim, the center boldly painted in
the European manner with polychrome enamels depicting scattered whole fruit and insects;
the verso with anchor and dagger mark in red enamel; bearing old retail and collector's label verso
Note : Chelsea made a similar feather-moulded rim plate, the center painted with floral sprays, c1758-69,
marked verso with a single red enamel barbed anchor
Condition : Excellent, a few places with scattered very slight wear to the enamels
