Comprising four trefid spoons crested en suite to the front with a talbot’s head out of a mural coronet:

2 Britannia silver spoons by Francis Archbold, dated 1698 and 1699 (Grimwade #82),

each with a reeded rattail attachment, one scratch engraved MB verso,

 

2 silver examples:

1694, John Cory (marks partially struck & rubbed (see London Silver Spoonmakers, 1500-1697, Tim Kent. p. 49, #59)

with beaded rattail attachment;

1692, with reeded rattail attachment, illegible maker's mark, the punch shape similar to that of Francis Archbold

 

Condition: Very good; all maker's marks rubbed; no repairs or reductions;

1692 example with a very minor flaw to the verso stem, visible above
