Having all vegetal dyes with good abrash, the fine Kuba rug asymmetrically constructed, with two Sejwa medallions
of alternating colors on a dark teal blue-green field with scattered Molla Kamally (interlocking minarets), animal, and
flowerhead fill, within a main floral and flower-vine border between reciprocal Laleh Abbasi
(interlocking tulips) minor borders.
Note: This medallion is often confused with the Karabagh Chelaberd medallion, but is slightly different in form.
Condition: Excellent; light even wear and very slight thinning of pile; several minor small well done repairs;
ends consolidated
