 pine on a rocky outcrop overlooking a pagoda between a tall pine and leafless wintertree, the interior with rim diapering

Condition: Chip to rim; otherwise excellent

An early blue and white painted form, the bowl with feather molding and painted with floral sprays and sprigs,

open crescent mark verso

Condition: Small rim repair sealing an issuing 1.5" hairline; ring still in tact

4.75" Diameter

 

Note of interest: The inspiration for this molded form of upside down peacock feathers seems to have been a

Paul de Lamerie 1735 silver coffee pot
